Welcome to Sacred Menarche: Empowering the Initiated Maiden
Sacred Menarche is a transformative four-week online program designed to answer the call and guide those who wish to mentor and empower young maidens embarking on their moon-time journey. Through the beautiful act of ceremony, we delve into the wisdom of the womb, allowing young women to embrace their feminine power and explore their shadow selves.
With the Sacred Menarche Rite of Passage, you will learn how to create a safe and supportive space for young maidens, be it your daughters, nieces, friends, or other cherished individuals, as they transition into womanhood. The program provides tools to access their innate intuition, understand the connection between moon-time and bleed-time, track menstrual cycles, and discover recipes to ease discomfort during moon-time. Additionally, we offer step-by-step DIY ritual suggestions and heart-art projects, providing resources to help create a memorable celebration honoring the maiden's growth.
Throughout the four weeks, you will receive weekly lessons delivered via email, including audio recordings and downloadable PDFs for each week's topic. If you choose to join our group-led course, we will gather virtually in a private Facebook group, fostering connection and storytelling among women from around the world. Our group courses run during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. As our month-long journey concludes, you will have the opportunity to submit a short essay and testimonial, sharing how you plan to bring this beautiful work into the world. Upon receiving your essay, you will be awarded a certificate of completion, along with the Sacred Menarche Seal and marketing materials/images to support your business.
It's important to note that you have the option to purchase the self-led course at any time throughout the year. However, if you prefer to engage with a community of women, sharing stories and building connections, we highly recommend joining our group-led journey.
This unique celebration invites us to honor the power of our blood, focusing on nurturing and empowering the initiated young girl as she undergoes profound changes in her body. It's an opportunity to instill confidence and remind her of the goddess within.
For far too long, young women have lacked empowered role models, with social media bombarding them with messages that objectify and manipulate their true essence. Many women today are disconnected from their womb, leading to imbalances, disempowerment, repression, and dis-ease. The elders are being called upon to teach the power of the menstrual cycle, enabling our maidens to navigate adulthood with a strong and centered foundation as they confront their shadows each month. By choosing to embark on this journey, you are committing to empowering future generations and contributing to the resurgence of the feminine.

Gathering together we will tune our ear to the sacred sound of the frame drum as each woman hand crafts their very own sacred tool. Each drum will be prodded using only natural dye with a specially prepared bundle curated by Nikiah, founder of The Red Moon Mystery School. We begin with the frame, which is the foundation for the drum and as the woman work in creating the drum each piece is blessed and held close to her beating heart. We will also dive into the teachings from "When The Drummers Were Women, A Spiritual History of Rhythm" by Layne Redmond.
It is said that drumming takes us back to the heartbeat of the mother when we die, transforming us into the great spiral of life, death and re-birth. the roundness of the frame in the context of this work represents the moon, and the wood coming from the ancient tree of life. Ancient drums owned by woman were specifically painted red using Ochre to represent blood, menstruation and birthing rites. It is in the spirit of this ancient tradition that we will dye these drums red.
I have been welcomed into the Red Drum Carrier's and now am able to teach small 1 day workshops to women on how to make their own RED DRUMS in my Los Angeles community and expand the sisterhood and red drum carriers.
